Do you serve all of Arizona or only the Phoenix area?

We are based in the Phoenix metro area and serve Maricopa County and projects throughout Arizona, including both urban and rural locations depending on project scope.

What is the difference between photogrammetry and LiDAR?

Photogrammetry uses high-resolution aerial imagery to create maps and 3D models, ideal for visuals and site planning. LiDAR uses laser scanning to generate dense point clouds and can better capture terrain beneath vegetation and complex surfaces.

Can you provide boundary or ALTA surveys?

Aragon Drone Works can coordinate boundary, topographic, and ALTA/NSPS surveys through our partner, Moon Valley Land Surveying, a licensed Arizona Professional Land Surveyor, when survey-grade deliverables are required.

Are drone maps considered legal surveys?

Drone mapping supports planning, construction, and visualization, but legal boundary and ALTA surveys must be completed and signed by a licensed Professional Land Surveyor. We coordinate this when required.

What deliverables do clients typically receive?

Deliverables may include orthomosaic maps, point clouds, 3D models, digital terrain models, contours, cut/fill reports, and construction progress imagery, depending on your project needs.

How accurate is your drone mapping?

Accuracy depends on project requirements and control methods. We use RTK-enabled drones and can incorporate checkpoints or survey coordination to meet higher accuracy needs.
